Overview
Amazon lists 600M products worldwide and its catalog metadata varies enormously. Some listings are sparse, others dense with specs, offers — often creating visual clutter. On a surface with millions of impressions, that density directly shapes how people decide.
In a team of 2, I led the research and design strategy for a customizable sizing framework that keyed to each product's information architecture and metadata. Part of this was prototyping a pinch-to-zoom interaction as an intent-navigation model. Treating the gesture as a live read on how to evaluate across categories.
